Collective and sustainable entrepreneurship for the territories: the answers to the inclusion of young people from here and elsewhere.
The Consortium Jeunesse Sénégal (CJS) has been selected by the Network of Actors and Territorial Communities for SSE (RACTES) and the city of Dakar to organize the Pre-Forum jeun’ESS on May 1 to 2, 2023, to ensure the participation, involvement and enhancement of youth in the whole device of the Dakar World Forum GSEF Dakar 2023.
The SJC is an association of young social innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers, and researchers among others. Its key allies include public institutions, international partners, CSOs, and private actors committed to supporting youth empowerment in Senegal.
Youth & SSE Pre-Forum :
50 to 100 inspiring actors (speakers, entrepreneurs, lecturers, innovators,...)
from Africa and the whole world: entrepreneurs, companies, investors, schools, research and training centers, universities and solution providers
Representatives from over 20 countries

Objectives of the Youth & SSE Pre-Forum :
The Youth & SSE Pre-Forum is being organised with and for young people on Dakar’s Corniche Ouest, bringing together initiatives and young people from several cities around the world.
- Promoting youth projects in the SSE
A village dedicated to the 17 The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals will promote the innovative and inspiring projects of young people in the SSE and encourage the dissemination of their entrepreneurial know-how.

- Give youth a privileged place in the development agency process: design, implementation, decision
The program consists of inspiring presentations, experience sharing workshops and opportunity fairs: employment, entrepreneurship, research, social innovation, solidarity economy…
- Draft and distribute a "Youth Appeal" at the conclusion of the Pre-Forum. This call will be the starting point for the action plan for young people in the social and solidarity economy after the Forum.
- Advocate for the adoption of a resolution at the UN General Assembly on SSE in 2023, aiming to strengthen the recognition of the work done by SSE organizations in achieving the SDGs.
- Creating together a decisive turning point for a fairer and more sustainable global economy with and for the younger generation
